It’s gonna run ya, I dunno, about 300k VND, give or take. depends on when you book it, ya know? Like, rush hour, or if you’re way out in the boonies, or something.

But the good thing is, the price shows up right there on the app. So you’re not gonna get, like, totally ripped off by some taxi driver, which can happen, believe me! It’s way easy to figure out, so that’s really cool.

Like I got ripped off last time, it was a real pain. We were going from My Khe beach to Marble Mountains, and it ended up costing way more than I thought it would.

• Booking Time: Seriously, book ahead if you can, especially if you are travelling in peak season. That way, you don’t end up paying some crazy surcharge.

• Pick-up Point: You wouldn’t think it matters, but where you are starting from actually can make a diffrence. If you’re in a really busy area, it could be more expensive.

• Fixed Destination: This is the important one. Make sure your destination is correctly inputted in the app. You don’t want to end up going to the wrong place and paying more, do ya?

Also, I recently went to Bà Nà Hills, that place is INSANE! The Golden Bridge is like, so cool. You HAVE to go there if you have the chance.

• Taxis are your most obvious choice. But negotiate, my friend! It’s practically a sport there.
• Private cars are comfy, if a little bougie. Worth it if you’re rolling with the A-list (or just feel like it!).
• Shuttles are wallet-friendly. But prepare to be very friendly with your fellow passengers. Intimate, even.
• Motorbikes? If you value your life! (And possess nerves of steel). Seriously tho, drive safe.

Once in Hoi An, things get interesting. Ancient town vibes mixed with tailoring madness. Get something made!

Don’t forget the food. Oh my God, the food. Cao lầu noodles will change you. Spring rolls? Sublime. I ate ten, easy. And the lanterns. So many lanterns! I want one of each color, tbh.

It’s pure magic. Like stepping into a postcard, if postcards smelled of street food and questionable plumbing. But totally worth it! Pack your sense of humour – you’ll need it. And maybe some pepto. Just sayin’. Oh and don’t forget sunscreen. I look like lobster after forgetting.
