How much money do I need for 7 days in Vietnam?

Seven days in Vietnam? Ooh, how exciting! But the money thing… that’s always a bit stressful, isn’t it? I was trying to figure this out for my own trip, and honestly, it’s a bit of a guessing game. I’d say, roughly, you’re looking at anywhere from ₹60,000 to a whopping ₹120,000 per person. See? A HUGE range!

Flights are the killer, I think. I nearly had a heart attack looking at prices last time – the difference between a budget airline and, you know, something a little more…comfortable, was insane. Then there’s accommodation. Are you picturing yourself in a cute little hostel, meeting fellow travelers? Or are we talking plush hotels with infinity pools overlooking rice paddies? (I’m dreaming of the latter, let’s be honest). That changes everything.

And the food! Oh my goodness, the food. You could easily eat like a king (or queen!) for relatively little money if you hit up the street food – the pho alone is worth the trip, seriously. I remember this one tiny stall in Hoi An, the best damn banh mi I ever had, cost me maybe ₹100. But then, there are those incredible upscale restaurants, too… the ones with the perfectly presented dishes and the fancy cocktails. I’m torn! I really, really want to experience both ends of the spectrum, you know?

So yeah, ₹60,000 to ₹120,000… it’s a broad estimate, but hopefully, that gives you a starting point. Maybe I should actually make a proper budget spreadsheet this time… (Nah, probably not.)
