How much money do I need for 7 days in Vietnam?

Flights are the killer, I think. I nearly had a heart attack looking at prices last time – the difference between a budget airline and, you know, something a little more…comfortable, was insane. Then there's accommodation. Are you picturing yourself in a cute little hostel, meeting fellow travelers? Or are we talking plush hotels with infinity pools overlooking rice paddies?
