How do I get from Hanoi airport to the city center quickly and easily?
Okay, so you wanna zip from Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai) to the city center, right? Quick and easy, you say? Lemme tell ya what I did.
Taxi's the speed demon, alright.
Options:
- Taxi: Fastest.
- Public Bus: Cheapest.
- Mini Bus: Good compromise.
- Ride-Hailing Apps: Uber/Grab alternative.
I hopped into a Mai Linh taxi. Cost me, like, 350,000 VND (around $15 USD) back in October '22.
The bus is ridiculously cheap, probably less than $2, but feels like takes FOREVER.
Honestly, those ride-hailing apps are tempting, but I just didn't feel like wrestling with the WiFi right then and there in No Bai airport. Could be a good option for you, though, might save a few bucks...if ur app decides to work.
Minibuses are usually crowding and pretty much same price as Taxi but take much longer to arrive to my hotel on Bat Su street.
