Okay, so, I used to live on Sukhumvit Soi 11, right near Nana Plaza. Crazy place. Late, like 3 AM, walking home after a few Chang beers? Mostly fine. I did see stuff.

One time, near the 7-Eleven (you know, the one near the Ambassador Hotel?), this guy, looked totally out of it, tried to grab my bag. I just yelled. Loud. He ran. Scared the crap outta me, though. This happened back in, uh, 2023, I think.

So, safe? I'd say most areas are okay, but be aware. Like anywhere. Trust your gut, ya know? If the soi is dark and deserted? Cross the street, find another way. No need to be a hero.

I never felt unsafe in Silom. Always people around. Even late. I wouldn't say there are zero "no-go zones," but they're not obvious. Just be smart.

Look, I dunno, maybe I was lucky. Bangkok's amazing, just use common sense, okay?
