Think about it: Do you want, like, culture? Or do you need something super vibrant? Budget’s a big deal too, Hanoi’s cheaper, I think. Job-wise, Saigon wins hands down. Plus, I like the food there better, even though my mom’s side is from the North, haha! Both are awesome though, they really really are!

Foreign companies, everywhere. I saw a new skyscraper going up last year, like, seriously huge. Think it’s got something to do with the port. Massive shipping. Lots of manufacturing too, I bet. All that adds up.

Average income? Higher than anywhere else, for sure. My cousin lives there; she’s doing alright, way better than my aunt in Nha Trang. Completely different worlds. Wealth disparity, I guess.

Phở for breakfast. Every day. Delicious! Street food stalls. Crazy cheap. Loved the banh mi.

Traffic. Horns. Chaos. But somehow it works. Never a dull moment. Fell in love with the energy.

Skydecks. Rooftop bars. Fancy cocktails. View from Bitexco Financial Tower amazing. The city never sleeps.

Stayed near Ben Thanh Market. Touristy. But still cool. Bargained hard. Got some great deals. Silk scarves. Coffee beans.
