Is it better to fly from Tokyo to Osaka or train?

Is flying from Tokyo to Osaka better than the train? Hmm, that's a good question, actually. It really depends on what you're looking for, you know?

If you’re all about speed, like, you absolutely have to get there fast, then flying is definitely the way to go. A direct flight from Haneda to Kansai International, (that's usually the route) takes, what, like an hour, maybe an hour and a half tops? Way faster than the train or bus. I remember one time I was in Tokyo for a conference, and I needed to be in Osaka for a meeting the very next morning. No way I could've made it by train! So yeah, flew, no question. Super convenient.

But... the train... The Shinkansen... (that's the bullet train, by the way). It's got these amazing views, especially if you go during the spring or fall. Remember that trip I took with my friend, Sarah? We saw Mount Fuji from the train window! Absolutely breathtaking. Plus, you get to just relax, maybe read a book, look out the window... You don't have to deal with airport security and all that jazz. So, yeah, the train does take longer - a few hours, at least - but it's a whole different experience. So, which one's "better"? I don't know! It's kinda like comparing apples and oranges, right? Just depends on what you prioritize – speed or the journey itself.
