Is it worth going to Krabi from Phuket?
Is Krabi worth the trip from Phuket? Honestly, yeah! A thousand times yes! If you're already in Phuket, skipping Krabi would be a HUGE mistake, in my opinion. I mean, the beaches alone… wow. Seriously some of the most stunning beaches I've ever laid eyes on. Think turquoise water, so clear you can see right to the bottom, soft white sand… I'm getting all nostalgic just thinking about it!
Remember that trip I took with Sarah a few years back? We spent a week in Railay Beach – climbing those limestone cliffs, then chilling on the beach, watching the sunset. Pure magic. And the food! Oh my god, the food. Fresh seafood, amazing curries… I still dream about that green curry.
Then there are the national parks, right? Don't even get me started on those. I went to Ao Nang Krabi, hiked through the jungle, and stumbled upon this hidden waterfall. It was completely deserted, just me and nature. Pure bliss, you know? It felt like I was in a movie.
And, the best part? Getting to Phi Phi or Lanta from Krabi is a breeze! Seriously, so much easier than trying to get there from Phuket. It’s like, the perfect base for island hopping. I wish I'd stayed longer! We only had a couple of days, and that felt way too short.
So, yeah. Go to Krabi. You won't regret it. Unless, you know, you really hate beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. But if you're even slightly tempted… just go! You won't be disappointed, I promise. I'm still dreaming about that hidden waterfall…
