Okay, here's my attempt at making that text sound more like a real person talking, instead of a dry, factual statement:

"Ugh, is London to New York a long flight? Seriously, YES! It feels like forever, doesn't it? I mean, roughly 8 hours and 10 minutes, give or take, depending on who you're flying with and which way the wind's blowing... that's a good chunk of your day GONE.

I remember the last time I did that flight; I swear I aged like, five years. You're crammed in there, trying to sleep (which NEVER works for me, by the way – anyone else?), and just when you think you're getting somewhere, BAM, screaming baby. (No offense to babies, but still!).

Honestly, eight hours is a commitment. So yeah, you definitely need to prepare. Pack some snacks, download a bunch of movies (because you KNOW the in-flight entertainment is gonna be terrible), and maybe even try to get some noise-cancelling headphones. Trust me on that last one. You'll thank me later. Just sayin', plan ahead, people, or you'll regret it!"
