Is Mastercard accepted in most countries?

Okay, let's make this sound a bit more...well, me. Here's my take:

So, is Mastercard, like, everywhere? Good question!

The short answer is: pretty much, yeah! They say Mastercard's accepted in over 210 countries and territories. Can you even name 210 countries? I definitely can't without a map!

What that really means, though, is that if you're a business owner, accepting Mastercard opens you up to a huge potential customer base. Think about it: so many people travel, and you don't want to miss out on sales just because you don't take the right card.

I remember one time, I was in Italy, and I tried to pay for this amazing gelato with my Amex (don't judge, I like the points!)...and they didn't take it! Talk about a gelato emergency! Luckily, I had my Mastercard tucked away, crisis averted! So yeah, broad acceptance really does matter. You just never know when it will save you from dessert deprivation.
