Is one hour enough for airport transfer?

Is an hour enough for an airport transfer? Seriously? An hour?! That makes me nervous, and I'm usually pretty chill. Maybe for a quick domestic hop, if everything goes swimmingly – like, perfectly smooth. But even then, it feels way too rushed. I remember once, on a flight from Denver to Chicago, – everything was delayed, and I literally ran, suitcase bouncing like a crazy thing, almost missing my connection. Never again!

International travel? Forget about it! An hour is a recipe for disaster. Think about it: baggage claim can be a total free-for-all, especially when you’re dealing with those oversized suitcases and people fighting over carts. Then there's customs – the lines can be insane, sometimes snaking around for what feels like miles. And don't even get me started on security! Remember that time I had to take off my boots and belt and empty my bag, all while the line behind me seemed to be getting exponentially longer? The stress was palpable. I swear I aged five years that day.

I'd much rather have a cushion, you know? A comfortable buffer. Peace of mind, my friends, is priceless. For international flights, I aim for at least two hours, honestly three if I can swing it. Three hours of slightly stressed out browsing on my phone instead of a full-blown meltdown because I'm sprinting through the airport like a maniac? Yeah, three hours is my happy place.
