Where and when? Think everywhere, all the time. Ok, mostly. You'll find Grab winking at you from your phone day and night. Unless, you know, the internet decides to stage a rebellion.

• Hanoi: Absolutely. Think of it as the official chariot of the capital.
• Da Nang: Yep. Beach trips are so much easier with Grab.
• Da Lat: Of course. Even in the highlands, tech finds a way.
• Nha Trang: Mhmm. Coastal cruising gets a digital upgrade.

Seriously, if aliens landed, they'd probably order a Grab before asking where the nearest galactic embassy is. Though... I did once have a driver who seemed like he was from another planet. Just saying.

It's cheap-ish, too, but they charge per kilometer. Annoying, right? Like, you expect a flat fee, then BAM, extra charges! It adds up. I took one to the Ben Thanh Market last week and, man, that meter just kept climbing! Crazy expensive, honestly, compared to other Southeast Asian cities. It's nuts! So, yea, convenient but pricey.

• Metered fares: Expect a base fare plus charges per kilometer. This can get expensive, depending on the distance.
• Hotel pick-up: Super easy to grab one from outside your hotel, that's a plus.
• Traffic: Be prepared for crazy traffic, though! It slows things down a lot.

I also used Grab a few times this year, that's way better tbh. Much cheaper then taxis. Way better than dealing with those taxi drivers, honestly.
