Okay, so Spain, right? Trains are supposed to be the fastest, yeah, like everyone says.

But ugh, expensive! I learned that the hard way. Madrid to Seville, summer 2023. I thought, "High-speed train, gotta do it!"

It was, like, 200 euros! Seriously? I could've flown. My poor student budget cried. Never again!

Buses are, like, way cheaper. But slower. Obvi. I took one from Seville to Granada. That was a haul, man.

Took like, five hours? But I saw, like, actual Spain, not just train stations and blur out the window. Olive groves forever.

A car... well, my friend rented one. Barcelona to Valencia. That was fun. Except the parking in Barcelona. Nightmare!

Road trips are where it's AT, though. You can stop anywhere! Tiny villages, roadside churro stands, hidden beaches. You just can't do that on a train.
