Laos Entry Requirements: Visa & Passport Rules?
Okay, so Laos, right? I went in December 2022, flew into Luang Prabang. My passport? Had to have at least six months left, that's for sure. They were pretty strict about it.
Two blank pages, minimum. Seriously, I almost panicked! I'd only just checked. Good thing I'd renewed it. Cost a fortune, that did.
You absolutely need a tourist visa. Some airports let you get one when you arrive – a 30-day one, usually. But check before you go, websites are kinda unreliable.
Honestly, I wish I'd checked the visa stuff more thoroughly. Made me a bit stressed. But Luang Prabang was worth the hassle, though. Totally stunning place.
