No way, that's a nightmare scenario I've witnessed firsthand (my cousin, bless her heart, once missed a cruise that way!). A passport's a good idea too, obviously, though for domestic flights? I usually skip it. One less thing to lose, you know? It's just... so much, isn't it? All this ID stuff.
