Ugh, Delhi Metro, right? So, what can’t you bring on board? It’s a bit of a headache, honestly. I mean, common sense stuff, like guns – obviously no firearms or ammo. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve seen someone trying to sneak a HUGE knife past security, like, seriously, what are they thinking?! It’s just not worth the risk.

Then there’s the flammable stuff. Remember that time my friend tried to bring a whole bunch of those little alcohol hand sanitizers through? They practically confiscated the whole thing! Inflammable solids, that’s what they call them, and apparently, it’s a big no-no. Wet batteries too, which I guess makes sense, they could leak or something. I once saw a guy get stopped because he had a bunch of old, corroded car batteries in a bag. Talk about a disaster waiting to happen. And sharp objects? Forget it. Knives, swords, even things like screwdrivers and those wicked-looking cleavers – all completely banned. They’re pretty strict about it, you know, for safety reasons, I guess, and it’s probably a good thing.

It’s all about safety, I get it, but sometimes the rules seem a little…over the top? I mean, I get not wanting someone to bring a sword onto a train. But it always makes me wonder what if… you know? Like, what if someone really needed a screwdriver for an emergency? I guess they’d rather be safe than sorry. So yeah, just check your bag before you go, okay? It’ll save you a lot of trouble.
