What is the average daily budget for Vietnam?
Average Daily Budget for Vietnam Travel?
Okay, so Vietnam. Man, I went in March 2023, absolutely loved it. Food was amazing, cheap eats everywhere.
Budget? I was definitely on the lower end, closer to $20 a day. Street food mostly, local buses. Could easily have spent more though.
Mid-range seems about right at $69. Think nicer hotels, some tours maybe. I saw fancy resorts way up, past $200.
Luxury, yeah, that's the $196 figure. Five star hotels, private drivers... ain't my style. But hey, each to their own!
What should be the budget for Vietnam trip?
Okay, Vietnam...budget...right.
One week, solo, roughly $480? Yeah, seems low, but doable. Double that for two people, so $959. Accommodation, food, transport, sights... the usual.
- $480 for one week, one person.
- $959 for two people.
Huh. My last pho cost like, what, $3? And hotels? Gotta be dirt cheap sometimes.
Two weeks...hmm.
Double the one-week price. $959 for me, $1,919 for us. Okay, that makes sense sorta.
- Two weeks: $959 (1 person)
- Two weeks: $1,919 (2 people)
Still though, seems so dependent on where you go and what you do. I mean, Halong Bay cruise? $$$! Backpacking through rice paddies? Pennies!
Speaking of which, gotta book that Sapa trek soon. What’s today? July 7, 2024! That’s it. Doing it.
What should be the budget for Vietnam trip?
Okay, Vietnam budget…right. A week? One person, maybe $480? Whoa, already imagining pho. Two people…$959. Double almost, makes sense.
Two weeks, that's the dream! One person blows $959. Is that all? Seriously. Two people? $1,919. So basically, double it. Food, transport, hotels all factored in, I guess.
Accommodation... hostels versus fancy hotels? Makes a HUGE diff. I always end up spending more on food than I plan. Street food IS life though, ya know? Gotta factor in those random banh mi cravings.
Local transport... scariest scooters EVER. Worth it for the experience. Maybe just buses for me. Think I paid like $5 for a 6-hour bus ride last year. Wait no, that was Thailand. Oops. Vietnam trips are cheap!
Sightseeing... Ha Long Bay is a must. Did that junk boat cruise in 2023. Pricey but wow. What about Sapa? Treks through rice paddies look amazing, right?
Okay, so $480 a week... times that by... carry the one... hmmm, should be like $2000 bucks.
Budgeting is hard. Forget I said anything. Just go, enjoy, and ramen later. YOLO, right? Haha.
