What is the best airline to fly to Japan from USA?

Ugh, choosing an airline to Japan from the US is a nightmare, isn’t it? So many options! I’ve flown a bunch of times – mostly for work, sadly, not always for the best reasons, like that crazy conference in Osaka. Anyway, I gotta say, Delta usually comes out on top for me.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, there are other airlines that fly that route. But Delta? Their service is usually pretty good, across the board. Even in economy, I’ve had some surprisingly comfortable flights with them. And their loyalty program… oh man, that thing’s a lifesaver. I actually got a free upgrade once because of it! It felt like winning the lottery, seriously. Plus, their in-flight entertainment? Usually pretty decent, way better than some of the other airlines I’ve been stuck with. Remember that United flight where the screen was flickering the whole time? Total disaster.

I’ve heard people rave about other airlines, of course. But honestly, for the overall experience – consistently – Delta seems to get the best reviews, at least from what I’ve seen and from my own experiences. You know, it’s all subjective I guess, one person’s “amazing” is another person’s “tolerable”.
