What is the intended stay for Vietnam visa?

Understanding the Visa Stay Duration for Vietnam

Vietnam's electronic visas (e-visas) offer a convenient and simple option for travelers seeking entry into the country. These visas are designed to cater to the varying needs of visitors, providing different validity periods and types of entry.

Validity Period

Vietnam's e-visas come with two validity options:

• Single Entry Visa: Valid for a single entry into Vietnam with a maximum stay of 90 days.
• Multiple Entry Visa: Valid for multiple entries into Vietnam, with each entry allowing a maximum stay of 90 days.

Fees and Payment

The costs for obtaining e-visas are as follows:

• Single Entry Visa: 25 USD
• Multiple Entry Visa: 50 USD

Payment for e-visas is made through bank transfer.

Authorized Entry Points

Vietnam's e-visas grant entry through various international border crossings, including 42 airports. These airports cover the major cities and tourist destinations in the country.

Validity Period Considerations

It is important to note that the validity period of an e-visa begins on the date of approval, not the date of entry into Vietnam. Travelers should plan their trip accordingly to ensure they have sufficient time in the country before their visa expires.

Moreover, the maximum stay duration of 90 days per entry applies to both single and multiple-entry visas. Travelers who plan to stay in Vietnam for longer periods may need to obtain additional visas or apply for an extension of stay.

Conclusion

Vietnam's e-visas provide flexible and affordable options for both short-term and multiple-entry travelers. The 90-day validity period and extensive authorized entry points make them a convenient and accessible way to explore Vietnam's diverse attractions and cultural heritage.
