Several airlines rank poorly in 2024 for on-time performance and quality of service. AirHelp data highlights Tunisair, Buzz, and Nouvelair as among the lowest-scoring carriers globally. Other airlines with consistently low ratings include Bulgaria Air, El Al, and Pegasus Airlines. Whats the worst airline?

Ugh, worst airline? Tricky. AirHelp’s 2024 list had Tunisair at the bottom, then Buzz, Nouvelair, Bulgaria Air… Honestly, I’ve only flown IndiGo (Delhi to Mumbai, March 2023, reasonably priced, no major issues).

But I heard horror stories. A friend’s flight with Pegasus Airlines got cancelled, last minute, in Istanbul (July 2022), total chaos. They were stuck for hours. Another friend had nightmare with El Al (Tel Aviv to London, December 2023, expensive and delayed).

So, “worst” is subjective, right? Depends on your experience. Based on what I’ve heard and seen, El Al and Pegasus seem consistently mentioned. The rest, I haven’t personally experienced enough to make a judgment. Still, plenty of negative buzz around those bottom few airlines on the AirHelp list.

What airline is the most affordable?

Spirit Airlines. Always Spirit. Cheap, yes. But… the cost, it’s a different kind of cost. You know?

  • Bare bones. Everything extra. Feels… dehumanizing, sometimes.

  • Delayed flights. Hours. Stuck in some sterile airport. Thinking. Regretting.

  • Tiny seats. My knees… my aching knees. I’m not a large person. This is ridiculous.

I flew them last July, to see my sister. It was… necessary. The price, it was everything. But still. The memories, they’re cheap too. Like the flight.

Another airline? I don’t know, man. This is it. This is what I know. It’s the truth, even if it hurts. The truth of affordable travel in 2024. Spirit. It is what it is.

Which international airline is the cheapest?

Cheapest airline? Ha! Like finding a unicorn riding a penny-farthing. Always changes. AirAsia used to be the king of cheap. Now? Who knows. Depends where you’re going. Like comparing apples and… orangutans.

  • AirAsia: Still cheap for Southeast Asia. But watch those baggage fees. Sneaky like a ninja squirrel.
  • Norwegian: Europe flights? Used to be cheap as chips. Now, more like moderately priced potatoes.
  • EasyJet: Another one for Europe hops. Comparable to Norwegian. Kinda. Sorta.
  • Southwest: International? Thought they were just America’s favorite cattle car in the sky.
  • Scoot: Singapore’s budget baby. Long flights. Bring snacks. And a pillow. And maybe a parachute.

Other budget airlines:

  • Jetstar: Aussie airline. G’Day, mate! Your wallet might say “Crikey!” after those checked bag fees.
  • WestJet: Canada’s answer to budget travel. Eh?
  • Eurowings: German. Efficient. Like a well-oiled sausage-making machine.

My last flight? Frontier. Denver to Orlando. Felt like being shipped in a cardboard box. But hey, it was cheap. Remember, flying budget is about the destination, not the journey. It’s like choosing between a cramped clown car and a slightly less cramped clown car. You’re still in a clown car. Just pick the cheapest clown car. My two cents. Don’t @ me.

What is the cheapest airline to fly with?

Frontier… ugh, those baggage fees. Spirit. Seats are cramped. Hawaiian… cheapest? Doubt it. Wait. Hawaii is expensive, period. My Maui trip in ’23… ouch. Definitely not cheap. Allegiant… flew them once. Can’t remember where. JetBlue… Mint class is nice. Not cheap though. Alaska… always pricey to get up there. United… basic economy is a joke. American… flew them to Miami last year. Overbooked. Nightmare. So, Frontier or Spirit. Gotta factor in bags, seats. Everything. Spirit’s website is a mess. Frontier’s… slightly less messy. Ugh, flying is the worst. Remember when flying was… glamorous? Ha! Okay, focus. Cheapest. Frontier then Spirit. Have to pay for carry-on. Insane. Gotta remember that. Checked bag… forget it. Wear all my clothes. Joke. But seriously. Pack light.Bring snacks. Airport food… robbery. Okay, done.

  • Frontier: Rock bottom fares. Tricky fees.
  • Spirit: Similar to Frontier. Website sucks.
  • Allegiant: Flew them somewhere. Small airports.

Which airline is very cheap?

SpiceJet. A whisper of wind, the scent of jet fuel, a bargain flight. Indigo. Deep blue, a canvas of the sky, affordable journeys. GoAir. Effortless, smooth, budget-friendly, a gentle breeze.

International travel? Oh, the vastness. Air Asia. Sunlight on water, a vibrant, inexpensive escape. Scoot. A playful name, a quick flight, cheap fares that sing. Tiger Airways. Stripes of orange, a wild flight, surprisingly affordable.

Budget travel: The thrill of the unknown, freedom’s embrace. Cheap flights are about more than just money; they are about unlocking worlds. It’s about experiencing the unbelievable.

  • Domestic: SpiceJet, Indigo, GoAir—names that dance on my tongue, promises of adventure.
  • International: AirAsia’s bold spirit, Scoot’s playful energy, and Tiger’s adventurous flair. Each a different hue in the vibrant spectrum of travel.

This year, 2024, these airlines still hold the key to unlocking cheap flights, to reaching faraway places. The feel of sun on my skin, the taste of a foreign land.

That feeling of soaring, of escaping, the hum of the engine—a lullaby for the adventurous soul. Flying! It’s a kind of magic, especially on a budget. The memory lingers, a gentle ache, a yearning for more. Cheap doesn’t have to mean less; it means more possibility.
