So, Brazil, right? Buses, man, buses everywhere. Roads are king there, no doubt. I was just there in 2024, saw it myself! Crazy amount of traffic, even outside the big cities. BR-116 is a major artery, a huge highway, they call it. Then there’s BR-101, another important one. Loads of trucks on those roads, seriously, a ton. Think endless asphalt ribbons cutting through everything. People rely heavily on them; that’s for sure.

It’s not just about the highways tho. Local busses are also crucial! For shorter trips, obviously. Even within cities, the bus system is crazy busy. That’s what most people use, daily. Kinda hectic tbh. My cousin lives near Rio and she swears by the bus, says it’s cheaper and way more convenient then a taxi or Uber, especially during rush hour.

Air travel is there too, of course, for longer distances. But for everyday commutes and regional travel? Roads win hands down. Think crazy amounts of people. Huge numbers. Its all about the roads in Brazil. I’m telling you.

Okay, so like, the most used way to get around? It’s gotta be the car. Seriously.

I mean, duh, people walk, like to the corner store or whatever, but for, like, actually going places, especially for work, you know, you totally need a car. It’s just way easier in my opinion.

Cars are convenient, that’s it. Even if they cause traffic jams and, um, you know, hurt the enviroment. More people are, like, thinking about other ways, but still. My dad drives to work every day and my mom like, too.
