What are the most efficient eco-friendly transport options?

Honestly, when thinking about green travel, trains immediately jump to mind for me. Like, the sheer scale of moving people or stuff on rails feels inherently less impactful than individual cars spewing fumes everywhere.

They're pretty efficient, especially for long distances. I recall a trip from London to Edinburgh a few years back, and the train just chugged along so smoothly, not this stop-start traffic nonsense.

It’s the low friction thing, right? Steel on steel. Makes sense. Less energy wasted just getting things moving. Way better than a car fighting the road.
