Well, get this – apparently Avelo is topping the charts! Avelo? Seriously? Wow. Okay, I'm genuinely surprised. I mean, no offense to Avelo, but… Avelo?

Now, I gotta say, I am happy to see Delta up there near the top. I've always had pretty decent experiences flying with them, you know? They're usually pretty good with communication. But even still, I'm a little skeptical about these overall stats.

Because, let's be real, is "reliability" just about on-time performance? I don't think so! To me, it's also about how an airline handles delays when they inevitably happen. I mean, are they responsive? Do they offer reasonable solutions? Do they at least pretend to care that you're missing your connecting flight?

I remember one time, I was flying with… well, I won't name names… and we were delayed for like, hours because of a mechanical issue. Okay, fine, stuff happens. But the way they handled it? Absolutely awful. No updates, no vouchers for food, just a shrug and a "wait and see." Honestly, it almost ruined the whole trip. So, yeah, I think how an airline deals with those kinds of situations is a huge part of reliability.
