What is the most useful transport?
Okay, but what's the most useful transport? Seriously, that's like asking what the best food is! It totally depends, right?
I mean, for sheer panic-inducing, gotta-get-there-NOW emergencies, air travel wins. Hands down. Remember that time my sister needed that specialist medication shipped across the country? Thank goodness for planes! Expensive, yes. Makes me wince a bit just thinking about it. But worth it. Absolutely worth it.
For just getting around town, though? Car or van, definitely. Easy peasy. I love the freedom of just hopping in and going wherever, whenever.
But...and this is a big but...for long distances, and especially when we're talking about moving a lot of stuff, trains are where it's at. Think about it – one train can haul tons and tons of cargo. Way more efficient than a bunch of trucks clogging up the highway, and, you know, maybe just a tiny bit better for the planet? It feels less…guilty, I guess. Like I’m not single-handedly destroying the ozone layer. I took the train from Chicago to Seattle once, and honestly? Loved it. So much more relaxing than flying. Scenery was amazing too. Who needs cramped airplane seats when you can stretch out and watch the world go by? So yeah, it depends. It really, really depends.
