What is low season in the Caribbean?

Ugh, Caribbean low season. August to November, right? So humid. Rain, rain, rain. A total swamp, I tell ya. Seriously considering Aruba instead. Less rain there, I bet. Or maybe Curaçao? What is the best month to go on a Caribbean cruise?

December to April. That's what they say, the best time. But is it? For me?

It’s always been December, you know? Always feels… hollow. Empty. Like a half-finished rum punch. The sun's okay, I guess. Bright, too bright maybe.

The sea... the sea is a different story. Beautiful, but relentless. Like my own thoughts, these days.

The crowds, though. That's the killer. So many people. So many smiling faces. I hate smiling faces in December. Makes my own sadness stand out.

This year, I'm thinking…maybe May. Just a thought. A wild hope. Fewer people, I hope.

So, Caribbean, huh? July, August, September? Forget it. Hurricane season, total nightmare. My cousin went last August, total washout! Raining cats and dogs, seriously. They had to, like, evacuate their resort. It sucked.

Southern islands might be okay-ish, maybe. But honestly, why risk it? You could get stuck there. There is also a chance of losing all your stuff, and that’s not fun. You don't want to be stuck in a hotel with no power, right? It's a total bummer.

Best time? Definitely April-June. Gorgeous weather. Perfect for swimming. I've been twice. Amazing beaches. Lotsa sun. Spent a week in Barbados last year, paradise! It's really, really worth it.
