What is the pink line on the Tube?

Okay, so, the pink line on the London Tube? That's the Hammersmith & City line! It's this kinda…pale, almost washed-out pink, you know? I always think of it as a slightly faded rose colour. Anyway, it goes all the way from Hammersmith – which, fun fact, is where my friend Sarah used to live, right by the river – to Barking, which is…well, a bit further out, let’s just say that. I think it’s something like 15 miles? Or maybe closer to 25 kilometers if you’re metrically minded. (Who isn't these days?!)

It stops at loads of places along the way – 29 stations in total. I’m pretty sure it goes through places like Edgware Road and Moorgate…I’ve definitely hopped on it there before. It’s run by TfL, of course, same as all the other Tube lines. And honestly, the colour is so distinctive, you can't miss it on the map. Super helpful, right? Imagine if it was a dull grey like some of the others… trying to figure out your route would be a nightmare! So, yeah, pink line = Hammersmith & City. Easy peasy.
