Hoi An. Definitely Hoi An. That's where I went last year, anyway. Spent a week there, amazing. The food, oh my god, the food! So much better than Nha Trang, way less touristy too. I hated Nha Trang, felt like a zoo.

Seriously though, Hoi An is perfect for unwinding. Think ancient streets, tailor shops everywhere – got three suits made for like, $150! – and lanterns at night. Magical. You should totally go.

• Amazing food: Seriously incredible. Fresh seafood, Banh Mi, everything.
• Tailors: Get clothes made super cheap. This is a huge plus!
• Ancient town: The architecture is stunning.
• Lanterns: So pretty at night.

Also, the beaches near Hoi An are cool, though not the main draw. I prefer the city itself. Much more vibrant. Nha Trang is just... bleh. I'd never go back. Need another holiday. Maybe next year, Da Nang? Or back to Hoi An!

I did a cooking class too, learned to make spring rolls. They tasted so much better than I thought they would. I really regret not going to the My Son Sanctuary though. That’s my only regret for the whole trip.
