What is the terminal in an airport?

Okay, so what's a terminal in an airport? Well, honestly, it's kinda the heart of the whole place, isn't it? To me, it's way more than just a building. It's where all the excitement bubbles up, the starting point for adventures, or, you know, a really welcome sight after a looong journey. Think about it: it's where you get your tickets, sadly trudge through security (ugh, don't even get me started!), and finally find your gate – usually way down some concourse, right?

And yeah, let's be real, it can be super stressful too. I remember this one time, I was flying to see my sister, and I was so late because traffic was a nightmare. I swear, I sprinted through that terminal, practically knocking people over, just to make my flight! Did I make it? Barely. I was a sweaty, stressed mess when I finally collapsed in my seat.
