What is the wettest month in Nha Trang?

Does it rain a lot in Vietnam?

It pours sometimes, you know? A deluge. Not always, though. That's the crazy part.

The north... drier. Less rain, I think. The south? Oh man, the south. Monsoon season. Brutal. Flooding.

• Central Highlands: Gets hit hard, consistently.
• Southern coastal regions: Torrential downpours. Seriously.
• Northern Vietnam: More moderate. Still rains, of course. But less intensely.

My uncle's farm near Da Lat... completely underwater last year. 2023. Lost everything. Heartbreaking.

That's what I remember. Heavy rain. Everywhere, it seems. But, unevenly distributed.

What month would it rain too hard in Vietnam?

Vietnam: Rain. May to November. Avoid.

Humidity? High. Activities? Limited.

Consider: Central Vietnam worst in Sept-Nov. North, July-August. South, May-October. The irony? Water, yet dehydration’s a risk.

• North Vietnam: July & August – Expect typhoons.
• Central Vietnam: September to November – Flooding likely. My Aunt still lives there. She complains more about the noise.
• South Vietnam: May to October – Daily downpours. But passes quickly. My friend likes it.

Rain is just rain, right? Wrong. It’s the heat with it, man.
