What time is the last train from Osaka to Tokyo?

Ugh, gotta get that train info sorted! What time is the last train from Osaka to Tokyo, anyway? I'm stressing, you know? I remember missing a train once in Kyoto – completely missed my connection to Nara, and ended up eating a sad, overpriced bento box on a deserted platform. Never again!

Okay, so I looked it up. The last one leaves Osaka at 21:24 – that's 9:24 PM for us non-military time people. Phew. That gives me a little breathing room, hopefully. It says the trip itself takes about two hours and fourteen minutes. Seems reasonable, I guess. Reminds me of that time my friend and I took the Shinkansen – super fast, right? But we still missed our dinner reservation in Tokyo because the train was inexplicably delayed! I was starving. Seriously starving.

So, 9:24 PM departure. Got it. Now, to figure out how much time I really need to get to the station...and maybe grab a decent onigiri for the journey. I hate those tiny, airport-style sandwiches they sell at the train station – totally overpriced and never enough food. Right?
