Best transportation systems globally: Which countries excel?

Okay, so, Hong Kong, right? Totally blew me away, transport-wise. I was there last October, and the MTR (subway)? Seriously efficient. Clean, fast, always on time. Way better than London's tube, even.

Cost? Can't recall the exact fare, but nothing crazy. Think it was about $2-3 USD per ride, max? Worth every penny. Seriously smooth, effortless journeys.

The whole system, though, not just the MTR, everything was seamlessly integrated. Buses, ferries… all connected. It made getting around effortless. Such a stark contrast to New York's transit woes. Felt incredibly safe, too.

So yeah, Hong Kong wins in my book. For actual ease and convenience, no other city compares to it, at least that I've experienced. Urban Mobility Index 2022? Makes total sense.
