Seriously, though, three years? I’d need a sherpa, a mule carrying my entire wardrobe (including those ridiculous Crocs I bought on a whim), and a lifetime supply of beef jerky.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to pack a solid pair of hiking boots, unless you enjoy blisters the size of dinner plates. And a GPS, obviously. You’ll also need visa paperwork and maybe a few new pairs of socks. Also, enough money for a celebratory beer at the end. Possibly a vacation too.

Okay, so longest flight, huh? JFK to Singapore. 18 hours and 40 minutes! That’s insane. Seriously, who wants to be stuck on a plane that long? My back would be killing me. I need a massage after even a 5 hour flight. Speaking of massages, I should book one next week. Maybe that new place downtown?
