Okay, so, the longest tunnel in Japan? It's defintely the Seikan Tunnel.

It's seriously HUGE, like, the second longest in the world, only that one in Switzerland is longer, the Gotthard thing.

  • It's 53.8 km long total, that's like, driving from my aunt’s place in the city all the way to lake far from here.

  • And like, 23.3 km of it is UNDER the water, the Tsugaru Strait. Which seperates Hokkaido, where I went for a ski trip last year – never again, too cold – from Honshu.

It's a railway tunnel, if you're wandering. Was super expensive to built, obv. So, yeah, Seikan Tunnel is the big one in Japan.
