I was there, like, summer of 2023, visiting my aunt Carol. She lives near Roundhay Park.

We took a bus down, hot day, proper Yorkshire weather, you know?

Honestly, wasn’t expecting much, just a day out.

It's the Middleton Railway, that's the name. Founded way back in 1758! Wow!

Aunt Carol said it's been running non-stop, like, forever.

It's all volunteer-run now, "The Middleton Railway Trust," she said. Seemed like a labor of love, I guess.

We walked around the main station – on Moor Road. Bit dusty, very authentic.

Got some pics, you know. Aunt Carol bought a silly souvenir. It was nice though, seeing all the old trains.
