Yeah, there's Tourlina. It's… okay. I used it last year, to go to the Grand Canyon. Didn't quite work out how I hoped. The people I met... weren't really my type.

The app itself is fine. Easy enough to use, at least. The profiles seem detailed, on the surface. But you know, pictures can be deceiving.

My trip felt lonely. Despite meeting people through Tourlina. I should have gone alone.

Honestly, the whole experience left a sour taste. I spent too much money on flights and hotels, for what? A few awkward conversations and a lot of forced smiles. Should have planned a trip with Sarah and Tom instead. Maybe next year…

Connecting with people is hard. Even with an app. Finding real connection is…well, it’s elusive. It’s difficult to truly assess someone from an app profile. This applies to dating apps too.
