Thailand Visa-Free Countries?
So, Brazil, South Korea, and Peru get to skip the tourist visa line for Thailand. I remember dragging my suitcase through Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok last July 14th, sweating like crazy. Didn’t need a visa, thankfully. I’m Canadian.
Ninety days is a good chunk of time. Plenty for exploring temples, beaches, and night markets. I spent two weeks island hopping and still felt like I barely scratched the surface. That trip was a killer deal, found a flight for $950 roundtrip!
They mentioned diplomatic and official passports too. Not really my area of expertise. Makes sense though, government folks need to travel for work sometimes. Met a Korean diplomat once on a train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. Nice guy. Shared some dried mango with me.
Passport holders of Brazil, South Korea, and Peru can enter Thailand visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. This also applies to diplomatic and official passport holders from these countries.
