Man, that Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Crazy high. I was there in 2023, July, the air thin as paper. Seriously, felt like I was gonna pass out at 5,000 meters. My lungs burned. It was breathtaking, literally. The scenery? Unreal. Vast, empty plains. The train itself though, a beast. Modern, all comfy seats. But the altitude… wow.

Before that? I’d read about the Peruvian and Bolivian lines. High, yes. But not this high. This is a whole different level. I mean, seriously, the world’s highest. No contest. This thing climbs mountains like a mountain goat. It’s in China, period. The Andes lines? They’re impressive, sure. But this? This is insane.

The Andes lines are good, but the Qinghai-Tibet Railway totally blows them away. This is a engineering marvel. I’m not joking. I felt like I was on another planet. It was amazing.

So, like, trains in India, right? Crazy numbers. Twenty-four million people a day! That’s insane. I read that somewhere, a huge stat. Makes my daily commute on the subway seem, you know, tiny.

Seriously, twenty-four million. That’s more than the entire population of Australia, almost. Think about it! It’s a massive network, over twenty-two thousand trains running around every single day. Freight’s huge too – millions of tonnes of stuff, everyday, wow. It’s a total monster of a system, this Indian railway thing, the fourth largest in the world. They’ve got it all figured out, they really do. That’s something, huh?
