Air travel: Speed demon, yeah, but pricier than a Kardashian's divorce. Think of it as a souped-up, winged limo – luxurious, but ouch, that gas bill! Plus, you're crammed in with a bunch of screaming toddlers, which, let's be honest, is torture.

Water transport: Cheap as chips, environmentally friendly as a tree-hugging squirrel... but slower than molasses in January. Trying to get anywhere quickly? Forget it. You'll arrive after the party's over, and the leftovers are gone. My uncle once took a cargo ship – he claims he aged ten years.

Here's the real deal, folks:

• Planes: Fast, expensive, noisy. Think supersonic jet vs. garden snail. But hey, you get there fast.

• Boats: Cheap, slow, peaceful... unless you get seasick. Then, it's pure misery. Picture being stuck in a bathtub for days on end. Not ideal.

• Trains: (Because trains need some love, darnit!) A pleasant middle ground. Less pricey than air, more punctual than water. Think of a comfy armchair rolling along on rails. Unless it's delayed.
