Which is closer, LaGuardia or JFK?
LaGuardia is closer to downtown NYC than JFK. Many New Yorkers prefer LaGuardia for its proximity, saving travel time compared to JFK, which is further out.
Ugh, choosing between LaGuardia and JFK? That’s a tough one, isn’t it? I mean, seriously, it depends entirely on where you’re going in the city, right? LaGuardia? Much closer to where I live, downtown. I remember one time, I was flying back from a crazy work trip – Boston, it was a blizzard, honestly – and landing at LaGuardia was a lifesaver. JFK? That’s a whole other adventure. A longer, more stressful adventure.
LaGuardia’s just way closer to downtown Manhattan. Like, way, way closer. It saves you, what, at least an hour, maybe more, depending on traffic? Which, let’s be real, in NYC, is always a thing. Remember that time I was stuck in traffic for two hours trying to get to JFK for my sister’s wedding? Never again. That whole experience aged me ten years. I’d rather walk to LaGuardia, even if it meant a slightly less fancy airport experience. Okay, maybe not walk, but you get my point. The time saved is just… invaluable. So yeah, for me, LaGuardia wins hands down for convenience. Unless you’re, like, way out in Queens or something, then maybe JFK makes more sense. But downtown? LaGuardia all the way.
