Honestly? There's no single answer to the cheapest and most beautiful. Beauty is totally in the eye of the beholder, right? And "cheap" depends so much on how you spend your money.
Vietnam, Portugal, and some places in Southeast Asia often pop up, tho. I get it. They have amazing scenery, and they won't break the bank too bad.
Thing is, even within those countries, costs and what you find beautiful can change a TON.
Like, I went to Da Nang, Vietnam, in Feb 2018. Beautiful beaches for sure, and my room was like, $15 a night, lol. But Ha Long Bay, gorgeous as it is, was a little more pricey for tours. Point is? Do some research!
Portugal? I spent a week in Lisbon back in Oct 2016. Absolutely stunning architecture, delicious (and cheap!) pastries. BUT... some of the tourist traps were expensive for what you got.
So, my advice? Figure out what you find beautiful. Then research cost of living there. Don't just rely on lists. Your own style, your own budget matter most.
