So, you wanna know the biggest store in the world? Seriously, it’s HUGE. I mean, I’ve been to some pretty big malls, you know, the ones that feel like you could get lost for days – remember that time we went to that one in Orlando? It was a maze! – but this one? This one’s on a whole other level.

It’s called Shinsegae Centum City, and it’s in Busan, South Korea. I’ve heard stories… I actually haven’t been there myself, sadly, it’s on my bucket list though! But, I read that it’s like, nearly 300,000 square meters. Can you even imagine? That’s… what, like, a gazillion square feet? I tried to picture it, and my brain just kind of melted. It’s apparently run by this company, Shinsegae Co., they must have some serious funding!

They say it’s a department store, which, I guess, is accurate, but I feel like calling it a “retail space” is closer to the truth. It’s more like a whole city within a city, you know? Like, probably has its own zip code! I bet you could get literally everything there, anything you could even dream of, right? I’m picturing everything from high end designer clothes (oh, to browse that!) to maybe even… a small petting zoo? Why not?

It’s definitely something to see, that’s for sure. Maybe someday I’ll make the trip just to say I walked through the biggest darn department store on the planet.
