Ugh, shipping. So annoying. My last package to Aunt Mildred in Germany? Total disaster. FedEx, right? Never again. Cost a fortune. Took forever. Seriously, forever.

USPS is okay for smaller, lighter things, I sent my cousin a birthday card using them last week, no problems. But for anything bigger? Nope. Too risky. UPS…meh. They’re okay, but not my favorite. They’re always super busy in my neighborhood too, so I avoid them.

FedEx is crazy expensive, dude. Like, for international stuff, forget it. I sent a small box to my friend in London last year, cost me a fortune. UPS is better for international, hands down. My sister uses them all the time for her Etsy shop, ships to Japan and all over. No problems.

• UPS: Cheaper international. Good for customs stuff. Reliable, my sister swears by it. Takes a little longer sometimes tho.
• FedEx: Super fast, but pricey! Good for domestic, I’ve used them for overnight stuff within the US, no issues. But yeah, international, ouch.

• UPS has that My Choice thing. Lets you reroute packages and stuff. Super helpful.
• FedEx has more drop-off locations, at least near me. Like, every Walgreens has a FedEx drop-off. Convenient.
• My friend, the one in London, he ordered something from the States, went with the cheapest shipping option, which was FedEx SmartPost. Took foreverrr. Like three weeks. Never again. Stick with UPS or FedEx Ground, or even Express if you are in a hurry and willing to pay, for international shipping.

Last summer, I needed a part for my motorcycle, shipped from Germany. UPS was like half the price of FedEx. Seriously. Took about a week, which is fine. I mean, it’s coming from Europe. FedEx quoted me almost $200. UPS was under $100. No brainer.
