Unveiling the Unreserved Cross Country Carriage

In a significant update to its timetable, Cross Country has designated new unreserved seating options aboard its Voyager trains. This move aims to enhance passenger comfort and flexibility while traveling across the country.

Unreserved Seating in Coach B and Coach D

For passengers seeking a more relaxed and spontaneous journey, Coach B on all 5-carriage Voyager trains now offers unreserved seating. Additionally, a dedicated section of Coach D across all Voyager services has been designated for unreserved use. This provides ample seating capacity for passengers who prefer to secure their seats upon boarding the train.

Fully Reserved Coach F

In contrast to the unreserved areas, Coach F is now fully reservable. Passengers who prioritize a specific seat selection or wish to secure their spot in advance can now reserve their seat in Coach F for a small additional fee. This option allows travelers to plan their journey seamlessly and ensure their preferred seating arrangement.

Enhanced Flexibility and Comfort

The introduction of unreserved seating in Coach B and Coach D provides passengers with increased flexibility and convenience. Whether opting for a spontaneous or pre-booked journey, travelers can now choose the seating option that best suits their needs. The dedicated unreserved areas in Coaches B and D provide a comfortable and relaxed seating environment, while the fully reservable Coach F offers peace of mind and guaranteed seat selection.

Conclusion

Cross Country's timetable update, which includes the introduction of unreserved seating in Coach B and Coach D, represents a significant improvement for passengers. The enhanced flexibility and choice allow travelers to customize their journeys, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable cross-country experience. Whether seeking spontaneity or pre-booked comfort, Cross Country has tailored its seating options to meet the diverse needs of its passengers.
