Why do you want to work here in abroad?
Why do I want to work abroad? Gosh, where do I even begin? It's not just about, you know, seeing new places. I mean, yeah, that's part of it – who wouldn't want to explore some amazing country? But for me, it's so much more than that.
It's the thrill, the absolute, giddy thrill of jumping into the deep end. Remember that time I tried to make paella from scratch? Total disaster. But I learned a ton, right? That's kind of how I feel about moving abroad. A giant, delicious, slightly terrifying paella of a new experience. I'm craving that kind of challenge.
I really want to push myself, you know? Become more than just... me. I feel so stuck in my routine sometimes, and I'm hoping that being somewhere completely different will help me grow, like, really grow as a person. Maybe I'll finally learn to speak another language properly, instead of butchering Spanish like I did on that trip to Seville. (My attempts at ordering tapas were… legendary, let’s just say.)
And honestly? I think it'll make me a better employee, too. They say all that stuff about cultural sensitivity and adaptability being important in the modern workplace, and, like, yeah, it sounds corporate-speak-y, but it's true! I read somewhere that employees with international experience are, on average, way more creative and better problem-solvers. Something like that. I think it just makes you more open-minded. More understanding. It broadens your perspective, you know?
It's a leap of faith, yeah, that's for sure. A massive, slightly terrifying, incredibly exciting leap of faith. But honestly? I'm ready. Bring on the paella – I mean, the new adventure!
