Why is it so hazy in Vietnam?

Vietnam's hazy air stems largely from its transportation sector. Over 3.6 million cars and a staggering 58 million motorbikes contribute significantly to air pollution, creating hazy conditions across the country. This heavy reliance on motorized vehicles is a primary source of the poor air quality.

Why is Vietnam experiencing so much haze?

Okay, so why is Vietnam always so hazy? Honestly, I've been wondering that myself.

The big culprit is all those vehicles! Like, tons. I'm talkin' the transportation system, which is seriously congested.

Seriously. I was in Hanoi last November, felt like there were a million motorbikes for every person. The air? Thick.

They have over 3.6 million cars zooming around. And get this – a whopping 58 million motorbikes, too!

I remember grabbing a street food banh mi (so good!) and just coughing from the fumes, it was really bad there.

Honestly, it's got to be a big problem. I hope they figure out some cleaner options soon, the air is really a problem.
