Okay, so you want to know what’s usually on a restaurant menu? Honestly, it depends so much on the place, right? But if I had to guess, and I’m thinking about that little Italian place down the street, I’d say three basic things are almost always there.

First, you gotta have appetizers. Think bruschetta, calamari, maybe some fancy cheese plate – stuff to nibble on while you decide what to really get. Remember that time we went to that seafood place and the mussels were amazing? Total appetizer win.

Then, of course, the main courses! This is where the real action is, the reason you even bothered to leave the house. Steaks, pasta, fish… the big guns. I still dream about that salmon with lemon-dill sauce I had on my birthday. Seriously, the best.

And finally, you can’t forget the drinks! Beverages, as the fancy people say. Water, soda, wine, beer… the whole shebang. I’m a sucker for a good glass of Pinot Grigio, especially if it’s paired with a nice pasta dish. Ugh, I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

Sometimes, they’ll also throw in sides – like, extra veggies or fries – or a dessert menu. But those three are the essentials, I reckon. At least that’s what my stomach tells me!
