What are the disadvantages of sheep milk?

Okay, so you're asking about the downsides of sheep milk, huh? Well, honestly, the thing that really puts me off is all the potential nasty bugs lurking in there. I mean, Brucella? Salmonella? And Toxoplasma gondii? Seriously, no thank you!

It just makes me incredibly nervous thinking about accidentally getting seriously ill from some unpasteurized sheep cheese. I saw this documentary once about a family who got really sick from unpasteurized milk (though it wasn't sheep's milk, it was cow's), and, oh man, it just totally freaked me out.

You know, I'd much rather stick with cow's milk, even though I know it has its own risks, right? At least I'm familiar with those risks, and I know how to minimize them. Like, I always make sure to buy pasteurized milk, and I keep it refrigerated, duh.

But sheep milk? It just feels like a bit of a gamble, doesn't it? And frankly, it's a gamble I'm not willing to take with my precious health! Maybe I'm being overly cautious, I don't know, but I like feeling safe, and sheep milk just doesn't give me that feeling. Maybe if I knew more about safe sheep milk production, I'd feel differently, but for now... I'm good with the regular stuff.
