Is it illegal to reverse on the highway?
Is it illegal to reverse on the highway? Seriously?! I mean, just picturing it makes my palms sweat. While I don't think there's a specific law against it everywhere (I could be wrong!), it's just… insane. How could you possibly do that safely? The speed, the other cars…yikes. Talk about a recipe for disaster!
I remember once, I was driving on I-95, and traffic just…stopped. Dead stop. Turns out there was an accident miles ahead. We were stuck there for ages. And not one person even thought about reversing. Everyone knew, instinctively, how dangerous that would be. One wrong move and… well, you don't even want to think about it.
It's just common sense, right? Highways are designed for going forward, not backward! Honestly, even if it's not technically illegal in some obscure place, it's practically suicidal and puts everyone else at risk. If I saw someone reversing on the highway… I think I'd have a heart attack right then and there. Don't do it, people! Please!
