How do you know if your rats love you?

So, you wanna know if your rats really love you, huh? It's a question I've pondered myself, staring into those beady little eyes!

Honestly, when those little furballs show me love, it just melts my heart! I mean, it's not like they can bake you a cake or write you a sonnet, right? But they have their own ways, and they're surprisingly... well, endearing.

Eating out of my hand? Super sweet. But you know what really gets me? When they... pee on me! Yeah, I know, it sounds gross, right? But trust me, in the rat world, that's like saying, "You're family!" It's a bit... fragrant, let's say, but I'll totally take it as a sign of affection.

And oh, seeing them relax and groom themselves near me? That is the best. Pure contentment, right there. Like they feel safe and comfy just being near you. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it?

But honestly, nothing, and I mean nothing, beats that frantic dash they make towards me when they're scared. It's like, "You're my safe place!" BAM! Right into my lap, burying their little faces. Makes you feel like you're doing something right, you know?

I mean, it's more than just pets, I think. They're my little buddies. They make me laugh, they comfort me when I'm down, and they're always happy to see me. What more could you ask for, really? So yeah, I'd say I know they love me, and I totally love them back. These little stinkers.
