Is it safe for a 2 year old to face forward in a car seat?

Oh my gosh, no! My heart would be in my throat letting a two-year-old face forward. Their necks and spines are so delicate at that age; rear-facing is absolutely crucial for as long as possible! Two years is the minimum, but its reckless to rush it. Id prioritize keeping my little one rear-facing until they hit the maximum height and weight limits of their car seat. Its just not worth the risk.

OMG, no way! Seriously, just thinking about it makes me nervous! A two-year-old facing forward? Nope, nope, nope. Their little necks and spines are just so fragile at that age. I mean, can you imagine the force on their tiny bodies in a crash? Rear-facing is SO important for as long as humanly possible. Two years old is just the bare minimum – like, the absolute lowest bar. Honestly, it seems kinda reckless to switch them forward that early, doesn’t it? I kept my little guy rear-facing until he was, like, almost four! He was practically bursting out of the thing, haha! But seriously, I’d rather deal with a cramped kid than risk his safety. You know? They max out the height and weight limits for a reason. I remember reading somewhere – I think it was a Car Seat Safety website or something – that rear-facing reduces the risk of serious injury by, like, a crazy percentage… I can’t remember the exact number, but it was HUGE. Anyway, it’s just not worth the risk. Not even a little bit. Keep those babies rear-facing! You won’t regret it.
