What is the trickiest time of the day to drive?

Ugh, evening rush hour is the absolute WORST. Those jammed roads are a pressure cooker, everyones stressed and impatient, cutting each other off. And dont even get me started on winter – dark, icy, and packed with people rushing home. Its a recipe for disaster; I honestly dread it. My blood pressure skyrockets just thinking about it!

Is it even a question? Evening rush hour. Hands down. Ugh. Just the thought makes me tense up. It’s like everyone simultaneously decides to be on the road at the exact same moment. Total gridlock. You’re inching along, brake lights blazing, and everyone’s just…on edge. Remember that time I was trying to get to Sarah’s birthday dinner? It was pouring rain, already running late, and traffic was completely stopped on the highway. I think I aged five years just sitting there. It’s like, what is the actual RUSH?! Where’s the fire, people?! Seriously though. And the near misses! People weaving in and out, barely avoiding collisions… I swear, it’s a miracle there aren’t more accidents. I read somewhere that something like a quarter of all crashes happen during rush hour – which doesn’t surprise me one bit. It’s just… maddening. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I get lucky and it’s smooth sailing, but those are rare, precious moments. Mostly? It’s a nightmare. I swear, my car practically vibrates with stress by the time I get home.
